Swingum Spring Jump offers lindy hop classes with international and local instructors at 3 different levels. Each level has ca 10h of lindy hop and taster classes. On Saturday evening there will be live music from big band Renhornen at Studion in Umeå Folkets Hus and on Sunday there will be an after party, after the classes at Umeå Folkets Hus, from 16.40-19.30.
The price of 700 SEK includes courses, all taster classes and entrance to all social dances.  The price at the door for social dancers who do not take classes is 150 SEK on Saturday night (100 SEK for Swingum members), and 50 SEK on Sunday afternoon.

CLASSES

There are 3 lindy hop levels to choose from, as well as taster classes to suit all levels, including both solo and partner dances.

Level A

You have already participated a basic lindy hop course, you are familiar with changing places, swing outs and Charleston figures and you want to develop your swing dancing.

You have probably danced lindy hop for less than 1 year.

Level B

You have already participated a basic lindy course as well as several intermediate courses.

You are ambitious and eager to participate in everything swing-related you can. You are not afraid to be challenged by technique, figures or musicality.

Level C

You have already danced swing for a looong time and participated in all classes in your local scene.

You probably already visited national or international events, such as Herräng or The Snowball and want even more!

At this level, the instructors can suggest for you to change to another level, if they think it would fit you better. If you are unsure if this level is right for you – ask your local instructors or an advanced dancer you trust.
